Why choose a sofa bed?

A sofa bed solves three problems at once: it frees up a room (no more dedicated guest bedroom), it optimises small spaces (studio flat, one-bedroom flat, teenager's room) and it absorbs the unexpected (guests, naps, heatwave nights in the living room). How to choose your sofa bed?

Three criteria account for 90% of the decision:

• Sleeping surface size: 200 × 200 cm on Nora, even more generous on Nora Angle and Nora Grand (300 cm frontage). For two regular sleepers, aim for at least 140 × 200 cm: here, you are well above that.
• Frequency of use: for everyday use, foam density is decisive. The high-resilience foam of the Nora line springs back into shape night after night, without hollowing.

Corduroy: the fabric that warms up the living room

Sofa bed or modular sofa: what is the difference?

A sofa bed turns into a bed; a modular sofa can be rearranged into several sofa formats (corner, U-shape, chaise longue). If sleeping is your priority, stay here. If your priority is changing the shape of your sofa as you move home, look at the Vela modular sofas. And good news: the Nora sofas do both, since their independent modules can be rearranged as well.

For which room?
