A move, a baby, an urge to push everything aside for film night: your living room moves, your sofa should follow. That is exactly what a modular sofa does: made up of independent modules, seats, corners, an ottoman, it can be configured as a corner sofa, a U-shape, a straight sofa or a huge daybed, and reconfigured in a few minutes, without tools. At Laneora, the Vela line adds the decisive argument: each module arrives in its own compact box, a true sofa in a box, so even a 400 cm panoramic sofa goes up the staircase of a period building.

Why choose a modular sofa?

How to configure your modular sofa?

The Vela 4 modules set (2 corners, 1 middle, 1 ottoman) forms a corner sofa with chaise longue of around 300 × 200 cm or a straight sofa with footrest: ideal for 20-30 m². The Vela 6 modules set (2 corners, 3 middles, 1 ottoman) goes up to a sociable 400 cm U-shape or an XXL daybed where the whole family watches a film. A simple rule: allow 100 cm of frontage per seated person, and keep 70 cm of walkway around the sofa.

The cloud sofa effect: the comfort behind the trend

Vela takes up the codes of the cloud sofa flooding Instagram: oversized modules (100 × 100 × 80 cm), a deep seat, soft cushions you sink into, bouncy lines. Fabrics and colours: the Wind fabric

The seven colours in the collection, cream white, beige, dusty pink, chocolate, ochre, terracotta, storm blue, are cut from the Wind fabric, a soft, lightly textured linen-effect weave that stands up to everyday life. The modular sofa rearranges the shape of the sofa; the sofa bed unfolds into a bed. For everyday sleeping, head to the Nora sofa beds. For a chameleon living room, and an occasional daybed by pushing the modules together, Vela is made for you.
